Grandvalira’s Soldeu sector will host the Women’s Alpine Ski World Cup in the Giant Slalom and Slalom disciplines on the 10th and 11th of February 2024. The International Ski Federation (FIS) council met yesterday and officially confirmed the definitive competition schedule for next season. Patrick Toussaint, FIS advisor and vice president of the Andorran Ski Federation (FAE) participated at the council session of the international entity.

In total, the women’s circuit will feature 22 venues and 44 races. The World Cup will start and finish in Austria with the Giant Slalom competition in Sölden (28th October), and the World Cup finals in Saalbach (16th to 24th March). The iconic Avet course will, for its part, host the world’s best skiers in February, after Garmisch-Partenkirchen (GER) and before Crans Montana (SUI).
